The department conducts multifaceted research work, in which the teaching staff and students actively participate. Every year, teachers and students participate in scientific conferences and seminars, publish scientific papers, prepare reports on research work, receive copyright certificates and patents, students take part in scientific research work and make presentations at the students' scientific and technical complex.
Materials on research work have been published in the form of monographs, articles in scientific journals of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, presented at numerous republican and international scientific and practical conferences, applications have been submitted and patents of the Kyrgyz Republic have been received for inventions, completed research work has been put into production. The departments actively conduct research work and international cooperation. Students' scientific developments are exhibited in the scientific museum of KSTU.
