Date of foundation. June 15, 2000. Polytechnic College of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, formerly The BSVE (Basic Secondary Vocational Education) was formed by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 403/1 dated 06/15/2000 on the basis of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Education", instructions of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 18-1168 dated 06/06/2000 and KTU Order No. 78 dated 07/29/2000. By Resolution of the Academic Council of the I. Razzakov KSTU (Order No. 1/61 dated 04/24/2013), the BSSE of the I. Razzakov KSTU was renamed in Polytechnic College of KSTU named after I. Razzakov.
The founder of the college is KSTU named after I. Razzakov. The first director of the SMALLPOX Polytechnic College of KSTU was Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Imankulova A.S., then the college was headed by Satarova A.S., and currently the college is headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, associate professor Turusbekova N.K.
The field of activity. The college is a structural unit of KSTU and graduates specialists in the field of everyday life and services. According to the List of specialties of the SVE of the Kyrgyz Republic, graduates upon graduation from college are awarded the qualifications: "technician", "technologist", " fashion designer", "electrical technician", "mechanical technician".
The history of the college is closely connected with the formation of secondary vocational education in the Kyrgyz Republic. Special merits in the formation and development of BSVE belong to the first director of the college, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Imankulova Ayim. In 2000, under the leadership of A.S. Imankulova, the first students were recruited in the country: In 2000, 3 specialties were opened: "Maintenance and repair of electronic equipment" (MRE), "Design and technology of sewing products" (DTSP), "Hairdressing and decorative cosmetics" (HDC). The staff included 2 full-time teachers and a total of 45 students enrolled in 11 classes.
- In 2002, the first graduation of 32 students took place in the specialties of "MRE" - 10 people, "DTSP" - 12 people, "HDC" - 10 people.
- In 2003, a new specialty "Design and technology of fur clothing and hats" was opened. By that time, the staff had reached 11 full-time teachers.
- • In 2005, in accordance with the new educational standards, the specialties were renamed to "Modeling and designing of sewing products", "Hairdressing", "Modeling and designing of fur products". In turn, new curricula were introduced.
- • In 2010, for the first time, enrollment was organized on the basis of 9th grades of secondary schools, as well as A new specialty "Electricity supply (by industry)" has been opened.
- • In 2013, the original abbreviation of BSVE was renamed to its current name. - Polytechnic College of KSTU named after I. Razzakov.
- • In 2013, the following specialties were opened: 190604 "Maintenance and repair of motor transport" (MRMT); 190701 "Organization of transportation and management of transport (by types of transport except air transport)" (OTMT); 261203 "Printing production" (PP); 210402 "Means of communication with mobile objects" (MCMO); 210406 "Communication networks and switching systems" (CNSS).
- • In 2015, 8 more specialties were opened: 140210 "Hydroelectric Power plants" (HPP); 140206 "Electric power plants, networks and Systems" (EPNS); 140603 "Electrical machines and apparatuses" (EMA); 230110 "Maintenance of computer equipment and computer networks" (MCECN and CN); 260901 "Technology of sewing products" (TSP); 280105 "Protection in emergency situations" (PES); 150413 "Technical operation of equipment in trade and catering" (TOETC); 151001 "Technology of mechanical engineering" (TME).
- Currently , training is carried out on specialties 260903 "Design, modeling and technology of sewing products" (DMTSP), 210308 "Maintenance and repair of electronic equipment (by industry)" (MREE), 140212 "Power supply (by industry)" (PS),190604 "Maintenance and repair of motor transport" (MREE), 190701 "Organization of transportation and management of transport (by modes of transport , except for air transport)" (OTMT), 140206 "Electric stations, networks and systems" (ESNS), 230110 "Maintenance of computer equipment and computer networks" (MCECN).
Since the economy of our republic needs highly qualified personnel with practical experience, the college implements the continuing professional education model to ensure the continuity of the levels of education of vocational education and higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic: "college-university". College graduates could continue their studies at universities under an accelerated program. In this regard, the educational process is aimed at in-depth study of subjects according to programs developed by college teachers together with teachers of specialized departments of KSTU in accordance with the new State Educational Standards of the Kyrgyz Republic, based on a modular competence approach. Training programs for mid-level specialists are coordinated with specialized ones departments of KSTU and employers, which makes it possible to align the professional training of graduates and the professional qualification requirements of employers. In the modern conditions of development of our republic Polytechnic College of KSTU named after I. Razzakov is focused on strengthening its leading position as one of the leading educational institutions of the vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic in the technical field. The implementation of the main vocational education programs of the SPE is carried out in accordance with the mission of the college. Currently, about 1,200 students’ study at the college. students from all regions of the Republic, from CIS countries and far abroad. Over the years of work The BSVE (Basic Secondary Vocational Education) of Polytechnic College of KSTU has trained about 5,000 qualified specialists. About 200 of them received diplomas with honors.

The dynamics of graduate employment shows that about 45% of graduates continue their studies in their chosen specialty in higher educational institutions of the republic or enroll in leading universities of the Republic, the CIS and abroad. Over 65% of graduates are employed annually in their specialty, which is: 2010 - 70%; 2011 - 80%; 2012 - 65%; 2013 - 83%, 2014 - 87%, 2015 - 88%, 2016 2017 - 82 %, 2017 - 83 %; 2018 - 82 %; 2019 - 62 %; 2020 - 74 %; 2021 - 77 %; 2022 - 75%; 2023 - 80%, 2024 - 85%.
The practice of college students is an integral part of the college's MPEP (the main professional educational program) and is conducted in accordance with the State Educational Standards of the Kyrgyz Republic, approved work curricula, the schedule of the educational process and the academic calendar. The internship is carried out on the basis of contracts, according to which these enterprises provide students with places to complete internships. There are total of 136 contracts with the country's enterprises for all types of practitioners. The college also implements elements of a dual education system based on tripartite agreements.
