Konkubaeva successfully defended her PhD dissertation in the field of 741000 - "Food Technology." This work was completed under the supervision of outstanding scientists - Doctor of Engineering, Professor A.A. Kulmyrzaev and international consultant Ruta Galoburda. This achievement demonstrates the department's integration into the global scientific community. To train scientific personnel, the first scientific and educational PhD program in the Kyrgyz Republic, "Textile and Light Industry Manufacturing Technology," in the field of 742000 - "Consumer Goods Technology," was launched in the 2025-2026 academic year.
International academic mobility is being successfully implemented at universities in the Kyrgyz Republic, including those in Kazakhstan, Germany, Hungary, and elsewhere.

The Institute's departments are equipped with modern equipment, instruments, and computers, and are connected to the Internet and the university server, ensuring a high level of educational quality.
The Institute's educational and laboratory facilities fully ensure the high quality of the Institute's educational programs. The Institute's educational and material resources have been strengthened by the addition of the "Technologist" Educational and Practical Center (EPC) (World Bank grant) and the "Personnel Industry" Educational and Practical Center (Link.) and the "Light Industry Technology" Department (a grant from the Swiss Government and KSTU).
The Technological Institute's educational and material resources have been strengthened by the Republican Competence Center for the Training and Retraining of Chefs and Kitchen Workers in General Education Institutions of Kyrgyzstan (RCC), established on November 3, 2022, at the I. Razzakov KSTU. Link
The RCC was established with financial support from the Russian government and technical assistance from the Russian Industrial Foodservice Institute (SIFI). It aims to train and improve the professional skills of chefs, kitchen workers, and staff involved in organizing school meals for the sustainable and effective implementation of the National School Meals Program in the country. The Department of Foodservice Technology, the Institute's computer labs, and the department's laboratory facilities have been modernized.
Under the GIZ project "Vocational Education and Training in Central Asia - I," new office equipment was supplied to the laboratories of the Department of Food Production Technology. An organoleptic laboratory, "Special Microbiology," has been established. Equipment and devices were received under the Higher Education for Food Production Systems and Standards (HECAFS) project. The Materials Science and Garment Technology laboratories of the Light Industry Technology Department have been updated, and the institute's computer labs are equipped with modern equipment and software, enabling high-quality training of technologists and designers for the light industry. The Personnel Industry Training Center trains technologists.
Graduate Employment. Demand for TI graduates is high, reaching 80-100%. It's worth noting that Kyrgyzstan's light industry has achieved international prominence largely thanks to graduates—technologists and designers—from the Department of Light Industry Products Technology at I. Razzakov KSTU, which was founded just over 30 years ago. Among the graduates of the institute are the deputies of the Zhogorku Kenesh (6th convocation) of the Kyrgyz Republic: Zhamaldinov Z.I., Mavlyanova M.I., Tumanbaeva R.M., Vice-President of Stuart Assets and Environmental Laboratories Ltd.
