I. Razzakov KSTU Eco-Activists Club
The Eco-Activists Club at the Office of Green and Digital Solutions at I. Razzakov KSTU is a strategic youth platform that brings together proactive students, faculty, and researchers to drive environmental and digital transformations both within the university and beyond.
The club serves as a hub for generating and implementing innovative “green” solutions aimed at achieving sustainable development goals, reducing environmental impact, and fostering a new culture of responsible consumption.
The club’s mission:
To foster a generation of environmental leaders and digital innovators capable of developing and implementing sustainable solutions for the economy and society of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Key objectives:
• developing environmental and climate literacy;
• integrating sustainable development principles into educational and scientific activities;
• Supporting student initiatives and startups in the field of green technologies;
• Creating a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange;
• Developing partnerships with government, international, and business entities.
Main Areas of Activity:
• Implementation of comprehensive environmental projects (zero waste, green campus, energy efficiency);
• Development and implementation of digital solutions (resource monitoring, environmental apps, smart initiatives);
• Organizing scientific and practical conferences, hackathons, and acceleration programs;
• Participating in international programs, grants, and rankings in the field of sustainable development;
• Organizing educational campaigns and information platforms;
• Developing the volunteer movement and environmental leadership.
Expected outcomes:
• Transforming KSTU into a “green university” model;
• Establishing a sustainable ecosystem of student initiatives;
• Enhancing the university’s international competitiveness;

The Student Community of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation brings together proactive undergraduate and graduate students, PhD candidates, and faculty members dedicated to environmental protection and climate action in pursuit of sustainable development.
The primary objective of the community is to develop and implement innovative solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reduce anthropogenic environmental impact, and foster environmental awareness, competencies, and a culture of sustainability within society.
Mission
To cultivate a community of proactive, socially responsible leaders and innovators equipped with advanced knowledge and practical skills to design and implement sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. This includes the development of “green” projects in the field of heat supply and ventilation aimed at improving the energy performance of buildings and infrastructure.
