Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of KSTU named after I. Razzakov
The Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov is a structural unit of the university responsible for organizing and coordinating the training of highly qualified scientific personnel — Candidates of Sciences, Doctors of Sciences, and Doctors of Philosophy (PhD)/Doctors by Profile. The main tasks of the department include organizing admissions, coordinating the educational and research process, as well as ensuring compliance with state standards in the training of scientific personnel.
The training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel is carried out in accordance with the approved list of specialties. Currently, training of Candidates of Sciences and Doctors of Sciences is conducted in 76 specialties, while training of Doctors of Philosophy (PhD)/Doctors by Profile is implemented in 16 fields comprising 21 programs. Admission to postgraduate studies, doctoral studies, and PhD doctoral studies is carried out on the basis of the Regulation “On the Training of Scientific and Scientific-Pedagogical Personnel under Postgraduate Professional Education Programs” and the Regulation “On the Procedure for Organizing PhD/Doctoral Studies by Profile and Awarding the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)/Doctor by Profile.”
In its activities, the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies is guided by the following regulatory legal acts:
