Annually, until December 1, applications for the DAAD scholarship "summer language courses in Germany" 2022 are accepted. Students of the 2nd and 3rd courses can participate.

DAAD is a German academic exchange service that allows students and scientists from other countries to receive funding for studying in Germany, as well as to travel to other countries for German students. DAAD offers a range of scholarship programs, but most of the scholarships are for undergraduate, graduate and academic students. The organization was founded in 1925 and today occupies a leading position in the world in the field of international student exchanges. In 2021, the 8th EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 (Horizon 2020) was replaced by a new program - Horizon Europe. The US Government Exchange Programs, supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the US Department of State, provide educational and cultural exchange opportunities for students, educators, professionals, scholars, and future leaders, both in America and Kyrgyzstan. All programs are fully sponsored by the US Department of State through individual grants. These include:

  • The Fulbright Research Fellowship Program is designed for advanced academic degrees and enables American scholars to lecture in Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz scholars to conduct research in the United States.

Since its founding (1974), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), as one of the executing agencies of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) of the Government of Japan, has been promoting socio-economic development and human resource development in order to promote the self-reliant and sustainable development of developing countries. .

Until October 2008, JICA was mainly concerned with the implementation of technical cooperation. This is the dispatch to developing countries of Japanese experts with good work experience and skills that are necessary and meet the requirements of this country. For more efficient technology transfer, JICA provides countries with the necessary equipment.

JICA also sends various teams of specialists to study, prepare and develop development plans for developing countries. The university functions as a network of already existing universities in the SCO member states, as well as observer countries. The main mission of the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is the implementation of coordinated training of highly qualified personnel on the basis of agreed innovative educational programs in specialties of priority interest for the economic and social development of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (hereinafter referred to as the SCO or the Organization).

The goals of creating the SCO University are defined within the framework of the SCO by multilateral legal acts adopted by the SCO member states, and are:

  • strengthening mutual trust and good neighborly relations between the SCO member states;
  • development of integration processes in the field of education, science and technology;
  • giving a new impetus to the expansion of multilateral educational, scientific and cultural cooperation;
  • expanding opportunities for young people to receive high-quality modern education, and for teachers and scientists to develop scientific contacts;
  • promotion of effective cooperation between the member countries of the Organization in the political, trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural fields.

Cooperation between universities within the framework of the SCO University begins with the development of coordinated master's and postgraduate/doctoral programs, which are the least formalized. At the same time, studying in the bachelor's degree, the student should be able to receive language training at the appropriate level for further education in the master's program at the SCO University without losing the time allocated for learning the language.

In the 2010-2011 academic year, the first enrollment was carried out to prepare students for the main areas of the master's program - "Energy", "IT-technologies". They were chosen by KSTU as the most promising for our republic. The entire regulatory framework was prepared, in particular, the methodology for harmonizing master's programs.

A student enrolled in the program of the SCO University should have the opportunity to continue their education from any semester at the head foreign university that implements this program. At the same time, the maximum period of stay and the number of foreign partner universities are not limited. The student is obliged to study at a foreign partner university for a period of at least 1 semester.

Kyrgyzstan is a partner country of South Korea in the New Northern Policy. The Korean government is taking measures to strengthen and expand systemic cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
