KSMI named after academician U.Asanaliev

The Kyrgyz Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after Academician U. Asanaliev announces the opening of applications for participation in the Erasmus + mobility program for the fall semester of 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for Master's and PhD students in the fields of Metallurgy, Mining and Applied Geology to study at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus -Senftenberg (Germany) for one semester with a monthly stipend and travel support.

Program details:

• Duration: up to 6 months (October 2026 – March 2027)

• Monthly stipend

Application documents:

• Resume (in English)

• Bachelor's degree (for master's degree students)

• Academic transcript

• Motivation letter (max. 1 page)

• Copy of passport

• English proficiency level: B1 or higher

Application process:

1. Submit all documents to the KG-MI Directorate.

2. Selected candidates will be invited to an online interview.

3. Shortlisted candidates will complete their application through the BTU online system ( MoveOn ).
