The Department of "Chemistry and Chemical Technologies" provides teaching of chemical disciplines to students of technological and technical areas of full-time and distance learning.

In the process of learning, students of technological areas in accordance with their profile receive the necessary amount of knowledge in chemistry: inorganic and organic, analytical and physico-chemical methods of analysis, physical and colloidal chemistry, physics and chemistry of polymers - disciplines that are basic for the development of special disciplines.

In accordance with the educational programs of the TF: the following disciplines:

Chemistry (inorganic and organic) - Directions "Technology and production of food from plant materials", "Technology and production of food of animal origin", "Technology of products and organization of public catering", "Technology and design of light industry products", "Biotechnology" .

Chemical research methods (analytical chemistry, physical and chemical methods of analysis, physical and colloidal chemistry) - directions "Technology and production of food products from plant materials", "Technology and production of food products of animal origin", "Technology of products and organization of public catering".

Physics and chemistry of polymers - direction "Technology and design of light industry products".

Chemistry - for students of technical areas of the faculties: transport and mechanical ngineering, energy, Kyrgyz-German, Institute of Joint Educational Programs.

The department is constantly working on the methodological support of the disciplines of the department.

Plans for the publication of educational and methodical literature are fully implemented every year.

The book "Physical sciences of jana colloidal chemistry" with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science was published in the state language, a methodological instruction was developed for performing laboratory work in general and inorganic chemistry, physical and colloidal chemistry.

For all taught disciplines, teaching materials, syllabuses, work programs, methodological support for lectures, methodological manuals and instructions for laboratory work and practical exercises, materials for organizing and conducting student knowledge control have been developed.

The educational and laboratory base of the department includes 7 laboratories equipped with laboratory equipment, fume hoods, the necessary chemical glassware, chemical reagents for laboratory work in accordance with the program for preparing bachelors in the areas.

There is a specialized lecture hall equipped with a video projector, stands with D.I. Mendeleev in Kyrgyz, Russian and German, information tables.

The department carried out two graduations of specialists in the profile "Chemist - Researcher" (2007 and 2009).

All graduates were in demand and successfully work in the chemical laboratories of Kyrgyzstan (JSC Kumtor Operating Company, Independent Grain Inspectorate, National Academy of Sciences), analytical centers of Russia, Uzbekistan.

Graduate Lasanhu Kerim successfully defended his PhD thesis.

Teaches chemistry at the Turkish Lyceum "Sapat" graduate Turbatova К.

In this regard, the department plans to resume the training of bachelors in the profile of "Research Chemist".

Personnel of the department of "HiHT"

The teaching staff of the department consists of 11 teachers, including 3 doctors of chemical Sciences, professors, 6 candidates of sciences, associate professors. Among them are "Honored Workers of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic" "Excellent students of education of the Kyrgyz Republic". Batkibekova M.B. is an Academician of the International Academy of Engineering, Dzhunushalieva T.S. is a corresponding member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic. "The gold medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization was awarded to Professors M.B.Batkibekov, B.B.Toktosunova. Professors M.B.Batkibekova, T.S.Dzhunushalieva, B.B.Toktosunova are members of the current dissertation councils for the defense of doctoral and PhD theses. In 2022, they defended their PhD theses on nanotechnology by E.I. Syrymbekov and D.S. Kudaibergenova. They were awarded the degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences.
