Educational work includes assisting students in the rational organization of the mode of study and rest; addressing the social needs of students; promoting a healthy lifestyle; fostering patriotism and inculcating positive national traditions, mutual aid, mercy; involvement of students in cultural and sports work; organizing and conducting activities for the prevention of offenses; organization and participation in community work days and improvement works of the university, district, city, etc. This part of works is implemented by curators, course managers, the dean's office, and, in general, the entire of the faculty. The faculty began an active work on patriotic education with the training of the country's anthem. Every day, the first lesson begins with the performance of the Anthem of the Kyrgyz Republic, as the anthem affects the youth with the help of words and music - art directly addressed to the emotions and the heart of a person. Participation of students is organized in commemoration of the Ak-Kalpak day, participation in holding the Day of the Kyrgyz language, in a rally in memory of Panfilov’s heroes, in visiting the Ata-Beyit memorial complex, in the procession “Immortal Regiment”, “Victory Waltz” and others. They organized watching films based on scenarios of works of Chyngyz Aytmatov, organized stands and wall newspapers “Aytmatov and his works”, held a mass action - writing an essay “Aytmatov and I”, as well as the participation of students in the opening ceremony of the Turkic cinema with parliamentarians of Assemblies of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) -Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Cultural - mass events
Technological Faculty students in an organized and active manner take part in cultural events of the faculty, university, and country. Every year, creative groups of students occupy leading positions in the competitions “Dedication to students”, the student festival “Spring of Bishkek”, and the festival “Manas Urpaktary”, the competition of CChR (Club of cheerful and resourceful). Student of group ICT (b) -1-18 Ademi Bekibayeva won the first place in the contest "Golden voice of KSTU-2019". They show a clear life position: in the “Taza Zhashoo” three-month event over 100 first-year students took part, in the flash mob “Bride theft is not the tradition, it is crime” over 80 students of the faculty took part. Organized the visits of museums and exhibitions, theaters and concerts of the capital by students. 27 volunteer students took part in organizing and holding the World Nomad Games 2016, 2018. Students took part in the opening of the International Art Exhibition of the ACCENT creative group "LIGHT / FORM", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Chyngyz Aytmatov. The exhibition featured more than 110 works: painting, drawing, sculpture, jewelry, artists of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Together with the curators, they attended performances of the Kyrgyz and Russian drama theaters, the Opera and Ballet Theater, concerts and performances of students and artists of the country.
About 20 students-athletes, winners and prize-winners of competitions of various levels study at the faculty. They contributed to the collection of awards not only for KSTU, but also for Kyrgyzstan, in the number of them: Dogdurbek uulu Eleman, bronze winner of the World Freestyle Wrestling Championship, Medet Kyzy Ayperi - gold medal in Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championship, Anara Ryskulova - silver medal at the World Nomad Games on Judo, Esenbek uulu Amangeldi - 1st place in the KR-2018 Championship and 1st place in the World Nomad Games on wrestling “Kuresh”, Nurkyz Ayazbekova -KR Universiade Champion-2018, 1st place in the friendly tournament among the universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and China migrants, Islam Niyazov - 1 place in the Universiade of the Kyrgyz Republic of 2018 in freestyle wrestling, etc.
