Educational and cultural work
The educational work of the Technological Institute is carried out on the basis of the developed detailed work plan of the Institute, coordinated with the comprehensive plan of educational and cultural events of the University. It includes work on educating students in the educational process (explaining the rules of conduct at the university; getting acquainted with the history of the university and its traditions; explaining the organization of a rational system of study and recreation; a serious, thoughtful attitude to learning), as well as educational work outside of school hours. It includes the rational organization of the study and rest regime.; solving the social needs of students; promoting a healthy lifestyle; fostering patriotism and instilling positive national traditions such as respect for elders, mutual assistance, charity, etc.
TI students actively and in an organized manner take part in cultural events of the institute, university, and country. According to the Department of Physical Education, there are 17 student–athletes who actively participate in various games within the university. Some of them are members of the national teams of KSTU, Kyrgyzstan and have achieved high results and achievements. The students actively participate in various games within the university. Among them there are multiple winners and prize-winners of competitions at various levels, such as the Asian Championships, the Asian Games, and the Universiade of the Kyrgyz Republic. They have contributed to the collection of awards not only at KSTU, but also in the sports arena of Kyrgyzstan, including Adel Baisalova, the Kyrgyzstani ITF Taekwondo Champion. I've won a lot of competitions. In 2021, she took 1st place in the Championship and the Championship of the Kyrgyz Republic. She took 2nd place at the ITF Asian Bars Cup International Taekwondo Tournament Issyk-Kul region.
During the reporting period, the students of the Institute took an active part in all cultural and social events of the university, the city, and the Republic, won prizes at amateur art competitions and festivals, festive concerts such as: "Dedication to Students" - 3rd place, in the interuniversity competition "Spring Bishkek" - 1st place, and between institutes "Spring Alatoo" - Grand Prix, "START-UP" of I. Razzakov KSTU and participation in the international action on May 9 - "We remember", etc.
Voluntary financial and financial support is provided to institute staff and students in need of treatment. Visits to nursing homes and orphanages are organized with the provision of appropriate humanitarian assistance by visiting the children's home "Teplota", "We are a family", "ldalgo family", etc.
We took an active part in the summer camp program "Summer School KSTU 2023" in the boarding house "Rahat".
In terms of career guidance, work was carried out in the regions, in particular in the Issyk-Kul region, meetings were held with students from 20 institutions of secondary school education in Karakol and schools in the Jeti-Oguz district.
Students in need of social support and assistance have been identified (orphans, students with disabilities, poor students, children of Afghans, participants in the Batken events, etc.) and their database has been updated.
According to the regulations on social support for KSTU students, the database of students who applied for benefits for the 2023-2024 academic year has been updated. Of these, 3 students (orphans) who study on a budgetary basis are allocated a monthly allowance for meals; 2 students (orphans) who study on a contractual basis and have applied for benefits for the 2023-2024 academic year. They study with a 100% discount on the contract. Two students who have a Grade II disability receive a 20% discount on the contract. Two students, as children of participants in the Afghan events who applied for benefits, receive a 30% discount. And one student, as the son of an employee, received a 50% discount on the contract.
These categories of students are provided by the institute with: moral support, assistance in solving problems.
