Faculty History


The training of certified specialists - engineers, technologists, as well as bachelors and masters is carried out by the Faculty of Technology, which, like the other oldest faculties of the Polytechnic Institute, was founded in 1954. It was represented by the Food Products department, which trained engineers, as part of the mechanics and technology faculty by specialties: “Technology of meat and meat products”, “Technology of milk and dairy products”, “Technology of canning”. In 1955, the department was transformed into the Faculty of Technology, which trained engineering engineers for the food industry.

The chair "Conservation Technology" was founded in 1958, its first head was K.Shev Cheshev, headed by the department for 20 years.

aking into account the needs of the national economy, the list of specialties for which the training was carried out expanded: “Technology of winemaking and food concentrates”; “Standardization and certification”, etc. On the basis of this department from 1978 to 1982. training has begun on the specialty "Technology of Food Products".

From 1961 to 1991 food specialists were trained in a collaborative recruitment not only for Kyrgyzstan, but also for Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. The Faculty of Technology has trained several thousand engineers - technologists for the food and processing industry in these countries.

 

Тhe deans who headed it at different stages of development made a great contribution to the development of the faculty. This is Pototsky M.G. (1954–58), F. Dychenko (1958–63), N. Korchagin (1963-66) Omurzakov D.O. (1966–71), Batkibekova MB (1971–77; 1986–90), Dean of the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences in (1993–99), K. Usenbaev (1977–81), O. A. Sadyrov (1982–86), Baigazieva M.D. (1990–92), T. Suponina (1995–2000), A. Kulmurzaev (2000–02). From 2004 to the present, the dean of TF is Dzhunushalieva T.Sh.

The Faculty of Technology continues its dynamic development today. He is constantly improving. Kyrgyzstan needs competent personnel who will be able to raise and develop food, light industry, trade, the public catering system, and the faculty carries out the training of just such graduates.
