The Department of "Technology of public catering products " is the basic one in the higher education system of the Kyrgyz Republic
The Department of "Technology of public catering products" conducts a bachelor's degree program in full–time and part-time (with the use of DOT) forms of training in the direction 740300 - "Technology of products and organization of public catering" by profiles:
• "Production technology and organization of public catering";
• "Product technology and service organization in restaurants and hotel complexes";
• "Organization of catering for tourists"
Academic degree: "Bachelor".
The form of study is full-time and part-time.
The term of study is 4 years (full-time); 5 years (part-time).
Since 2017, the department has started training masters in the direction 740300-"Product technology and catering organization" under the program "Technology of functional food products".
Academic degree: "Master".
The form of study is full-time.
Duration of training: 2 years.
According to these educational programs, there are approved working curricula, about 40 bachelor's degree disciplines and 14 master's degree disciplines are assigned to the department. All disciplines are provided with educational and methodological complexes, work on updating which is constantly underway. The department has developed textbooks, methodological guidelines for laboratory work and practical classes in Russian and Kyrgyz. For all programs of the department there are methodological guidelines for all types of practices, coursework, final qualification and master's works on bachelor's and master's degree.
