International relations. The department maintains relations with Almaty Technological University (OTU), South Ural State University, Kharkiv State Academy of Public Catering, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Kemerovo Technological Institute of Food Industry, Altai State Technical University.
An agreement on cooperation in the field of education, science, technology, student and academic mobility was signed between the department and the Novosibirsk State Technical University (Russia), and a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Almaty Technological University (ATU). Work is underway on cooperation in the field of education and science, student and academic mobility with CIS universities (Kemerovo State University, Altai State Technological University).
Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between Almaty Technological University and KGAU in 2016, students of the 3rd year of student mobility undergo introductory and industrial practice.
On the basis of the Institute of Joint Educational Programs (ISOP), a joint program "Product Technology and catering organization" was developed within the framework of the Kyrgyz-Russian consortium with the issuance of two diplomas (Kyrgyzstan and Russia), in cooperation with partner universities in order to develop and integrate into the international educational space.
