Information about educational and methodological support

The department is working to provide all disciplines with the necessary methodological documents. UMCS have been developed in all disciplines assigned to the department: in the direction of TPOP – 35 UMCS, in the direction of Commerce – 22 UMCS.

Methodological manuals and instructions for conducting laboratory work, practical classes. Methodological materials are presented by methodological guidelines, laboratory workshops, textbooks, which are written at a high theoretical level. Students have the opportunity to use methodological materials in a timely manner. The content of methodological developments fully meets the requirements of the curriculum.

All laboratories and lecture halls are equipped with sets of tables, posters, layouts; there are visual aids with examples of course and diploma projects. Laboratory and practical classes in all disciplines of the department are provided with methodological guidelines, manuals and are conducted in special laboratories equipped with appropriate equipment and devices.

In general, the methodological support of the educational process is at the proper level, the department is switching to an electronic form of methodological information.

The department is working on the use of Internet resources for educational purposes and the development of distance learning using Internet technologies. Modern multimedia and audiovisual means are actively used in the educational process at the department. A number of teachers actively use a multimedia projector when giving lectures, projecting an image onto the screen. Staff use computers and graduate students of the department to prepare materials for lectures, practical and laboratory classes, reports on the department, development of distance courses, etc.
