Restaurant business in Kyrgyzstan is one of the rare dynamically developing areas. According to the information of the State Tax Service, there are 2,594 public catering outlets in Kyrgyzstan (canteens, teahouses, cafes, and restaurants and clubs) This list includes both small canteens, teahouses, cafes, restaurants, clubs, pizzerias, etc.)

The number of operating catering enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2018 amounted to 5,438 units compared to 2017 (5,112 units). The number of enterprises increased by 6.3%.

One of the important criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the departments of the faculty and the correctness of strategic development plans is the employment rate of graduates. The demand for graduates of the TF is quite high, since currently; the food and light industry of the country is developing at a good pace. The quality of training of specialists at the faculty always meets the requirements of the time. TF graduates with a unified set of knowledge in fundamental, engineering and special disciplines, proficient in computer technology, programming and foreign languages are able to easily and quickly adapt to the production process of enterprises, can work in responsible areas of any structure (public, private), create their own business, becoming entrepreneurs, head enterprises, organizations of any level.

Graduates of the TPOP department after graduation are employed at leading public catering enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic, neighboring countries (Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc.) and far abroad (Turkey, Germany, etc.).

Every year the department graduates 40-50 bachelors. Employment of graduates of the department is 70-80%.

Within the framework of the Faculty of Technology and the Department, information is collected on graduates of the department, the information is updated annually.

Representatives of the production regularly (twice a year) take part in all events related to the educational process. To assess the quality of graduates, employers are involved in the work of state attestation commissions (SAC), participate in the development of research topics commissioned by production, topics of final qualifying works, are the heads of practices from production.
