The head of the postgraduate and doctoral studies Z.G.Karpushevich delivered the main report. The curriculum of doctoral students is approved by the university, and the training period covers 3 years, which can be extended for no more than 2 years. The complexity of the doctoral program ranges from 180 to 240 credits, with at least 60 credits falling on the study of academic disciplines.

During the training period, the doctoral student must publish at least 2 articles reflecting the scientific results of the research in scientific publications with a "non-zero" impact factor indexed by the international systems Web of Science and Scopus and pass a foreign internship for at least 1 month.

Next, the university will have to obtain the appropriate license from the authorized state body in order to start implementing programs for training PhD or doctors in the profile, having previously developed the curricula of the basic doctoral program.

From June 2020 to February 2021, an English language course was organized to enhance the research competence of teachers and staff of the KSTU named after Razzakov as part of the DERECKA project funded by Erasmusplus.
The training was conducted online for 15 people in two groups: Elementary-A2 and Advenced-B1. All 15 members of KSTU actively participated in English language training and successfully passed the final tests. In April 2021, the LINGUA language course certificates were officially presented.
