The department's work plan is conducted at the beginning of the academic year and approved at a department meeting. The work plan includes all types of work (training of specialists, measures to form a contingent of students, measures to improve the quality of training of specialists, a plan for research work and a comprehensive plan for the education of students) carried out at the department.

The implementation of work plan items is reviewed monthly at department meetings.

The department carries out educational work with students, both through a system of supervision and as part of out-of-class work with students.

There is a plan for curatorial work, which is approved at a meeting of the department. The check is carried out by the manager. department.

The educational work plan defines the main goals:

- organizational and information support of educational work;

- directions of educational work.

The educational work plan includes the following blocks:

- educational work;

- organizational work;

- organization of sports events;

- organization of promotion of a healthy lifestyle;

- organization of cultural events;

- organization of patriotic education;

- organization of professional legal education;

- participation of institute students in events held on significant dates (holidays).

During the reporting period the following work was done.

Familiarization with the academic calendar was carried out. During the academic year, work was carried out to identify students who systematically do not perform well and have a large number of absences from classes without good reason, and explanatory work was carried out with students. Student attendance is monitored by group leaders in the group journal, which is controlled by office registrars in the dean's office. Curators do an analysis of attendance to identify students who frequently miss classes and their academic performance. An analysis of the results of the winter and summer sessions was carried out with the corresponding conclusions. Organization of extracurricular work with students is carried out by curators and group leaders.

The core of the educational process is the traditional events held at the institute.

Orientation week for the first year at the end of August, the main purpose of which is to inform students about the university, about the Internal Regulations, about the rules of living in the hostel, about the rules for using the library, and familiarization with the academic calendar;

Community work days on the territory of KSTU and beyond , as an effective means of educating environmental and everyday culture (autumn, spring) ;

Participation of students in a charity event to help orphanages (winter, New Year);

Attending lectures, events “ No - corruption in the educational process”, “The threat of terrorism”;

Holding an Open Day event (spring);

Carrying out an event dedicated to the celebration of “ Nooruz ” (spring);

Organization and completion of medical examinations by students according to schedule.

During the academic year, groups held curatorial hours on various topics determined by curators taking into account the interests of students.
