The laboratory facilities of the department can be considered satisfactory, and it ensures the conduct of all training sessions. The department as a whole has 7 laboratory classrooms. Of these, 1 laboratory class is located in the main building of KSTU, and the remaining 6 are located in building 5 of KSTU.

The department actively cooperates with leading universities in Russia, for example , the supplied laboratory complexes from St. Petersburg ( SPbSUT named after Bonch-Bruevich) allow for at least 30 types of laboratory work on wireless telecommunication technologies and on the study of standards and research of secure multi-service wireless networks .

Together with SKB, the following were developed, manufactured and introduced into the educational process:

  • - 2 laboratory complexes in the discipline “Information and measurement technology”;
  • - 3 laboratory complexes “Electronics” in the disciplines “Fundamentals of Electronics”, “Electronics”, “Industrial Electronics”.
  • These laboratory installations allow for full-fledged laboratory work on more than 15 laboratory tasks.

The department's upcoming works are planned:

  • - acquisition of laboratory stands for microcontrollers, radio transmitting and receiving devices and telecommunications;
  • - creation of a small CB, VHF radio station and a student television and radio studio ;

Modernization of laboratory stands “Digital Electronics”, “ Circuit Design and Microcontrollers” to support the disciplines “Electronics”, “ Circuit Design of TCM Devices”, “Design of Digital Devices on DSP and FPGA”, “Fundamentals of Microcontroller Programming”, “Microprocessors in Radio Systems”, “ Circuit Design ” TCM devices" and "Digital devices and microprocessors".
