The Department of Economics and Management is one of the leading educational and scientific departments of the Tokmok branch named after. Kh. A. Rakhmatulina, has issuing status. Together with other departments of KSTU, it provides training for bachelors and masters, and also participates in the retraining and advanced training of teachers.

The department’s staff aims to provide future bachelors and master’s students with the following key values:

Forms of training:

 

Bachelor: full-time – 4 years of study

Bachelor: part-time – 5 years of study

Master's degree: 2 years of study

Goals and learning outcomes of the educational program “Economics and Management”

 

The goal of the program is to prepare highly qualified bachelors and masters who are able

to solve issues of improving society, economics, production, science and the development of new technologies.

A graduate who has mastered the program, in accordance with the type(s) of professional activity for which the program is focused, must be ready to solve the following professional tasks:

know approaches to management and content of planning, production organization, investment and innovation activities;

the main characteristics and processes of the national economy, labor market, logistics, social economy in modern conditions of globalization;

choose the necessary forms of organizing production and management, make management decisions;

be able to effectively use human and financial resources;

build and use models to describe and predict economic processes and phenomena.

Work in a team, defend your point of view, propose new solutions, some of which may deserve publication at the national or international level;

When developing an effective production strategy for an enterprise, managers solve problems aimed at improving the quality of products, organizing technological processes, issues related to cost calculation, and optimizing the use of human resources.
