Academic work
In order to ensure the high quality of the educational process, the Department of Economics and Management implements the following areas of educational and methodological activities:
high-quality implementation of curricula and training programs;
conducting classes at a high scientific and methodological level;
implementation of new educational technologies, information educational technologies;
activation of students' creative thinking;
guiding students in preparing essays, term papers, and final qualifying papers, reviewing them, and conducting consultations.
All work programs of disciplines contain competencies aimed at developing graduate competencies. Additions and changes to the work programs are made by the developer as the lecture material and employers' requirements are updated.
The list of educational literature is periodically updated taking into account new literature acquired and published in the Faculty of KSTU named after I. Razzakov.
In the educational process, the teachers of the department use electronic presentations of lecture courses, apply educational technologies in order to teach teamwork in a comprehensive solution of economic problems. In particular, business games (reflected in the work programs), reflecting the specifics of a particular discipline.
The department has educational and methodological materials developed by the department staff, on the disciplines assigned to the department and the electronic library of the Scientific and Technical Library.
The teaching and methodological kits have been developed for each discipline, which contain a work program, a syllabus, methodological support for lectures, a glossary, methodological support for practical work, materials for organizing and conducting control of students' knowledge (tests and tickets). The department has methodological instructions for completing the final qualifying work of bachelors and a comprehensive program of practices.
Organization and conduct of practices. Practice base.
The department conducts all types of internships:
Bachelor's degree: educational, industrial, pre-qualification
Master's degree: industrial, pedagogical, research
The corresponding folder contains reports and orders that are promptly prepared and submitted to the educational department, on the basis of which the orders of the Tokmok branch are issued.
Preparatory and explanatory work is carried out before the start of internships. The goals and objectives of the internship are explained at organizational meetings. To complete the internship, the student receives a Practice Diary, which provides recommendations and requirements for completing the internship, documentation for completing a report on the results of the internship, and an individual assignment. There are methodological guidelines for completing internships and completing final qualifying papers. During the internship, students record the relevant data in reports and programs. The fact of completing the internship is confirmed by a signature and seal from the organization. The reports on internships are stored at the department for a year.
Before the pre-qualification practice, students are assigned a topic for their final qualifying work. The topics of the final work are discussed with the students by their supervisors before they are sent to the pre-qualification practice. The bases for the pre-qualification practice are government organizations and commercial firms. After the students return from the practice, their reports are accepted and approved.
