KYRGYZ - GERMAN TECHNICAL INSTITUTE
The German Language Centre is one of the leading educational centres of the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute, which was founded on 1 September 2014 at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov.

Associate Professors Z.N. Romashova and Z.A. Abdukarimova, and lecturer Zh.A. Tazhieva. Representatives of German, Swiss, and Austrian educational programmes worked at the German Centre: Katja Tevs, Cornelia Gauchi-Holensee, and Gerald Ziegler.
Over the years since its foundation, DAAD lecturers have worked at the German Language Centre: 2014-2019 - Yves Tauschwitz; 2019-2024 - Dagny Wolf; since September 2024, Torsten Kaesler has been working as a DAAD lecturer.
Heads of the German Language Centre: 2014-2017 - Svetlana Lungren; 2017-2024 - Toktosunova Shakista Tashmurzaevna. Since 1 September 2024, the Centre has been headed by Fatima Temirkulovna Andasheva, PhD, Associate Professor.
The German Language Centre employs highly qualified teachers with extensive experience: Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor F.T. Andasheva; Associate Professor Sh.T. Toktosunova; KR Education Excellence Award winners - Associate Professor Z.A. Abdukarimova, Associate Professor G.K. Madylova; senior teachers - M.S. Barbasheva, G.M. Abdyldaeva, G.U. Ismailova, A.K. Kulunova; teachers - N.A. Adbrahmanova, DAAD lecturer T. Kaesler; leading specialist N.Sh. Andasheva
Over the years since its foundation, the German Language Centre has become a modern educational centre in Kyrgyzstan. The German Language Centre offers practical German language courses for first- to third-year students of all disciplines at the Kyrgyz State Technical University, as well as for master's students and staff at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. The teaching process is organised at a high level using modern methods of foreign language teaching. Every year, DAAD lecturer T. Kaesler conducts the TestDaf and OnSet exams.
The German Language Centre works closely with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Technical University of Ilmenau/Germany and the Language Institute of the Technical University of Ilmenau/Germany.Since November 2024, there has been active cooperation between the Language Institute of the Technical University of Ilmenau/Germany and the CNY. The aim of the cooperation is to introduce technical German at the KGTU.
THE AIM OF THE GLC's EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIIES IS TO:
-develop the general organisational directions of the GCL's work;
-improve human resource potential;
-expand the organisational, scientific and methodological forms of educational activities;
-provide students with additional opportunities for language training;
-ensure the training of highly qualified technical specialists with knowledge of the German language.
