Introduction of technical German in KGTI
A delegation of the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at the I. Razzakov KSTU visited Ilmenau Technical University (Germany) as part of bilateral cooperation at the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Professor Hannes Toepfer. The delegation was led by the Director of KGTI, Professor A.A. Usupkozhoeva.. The delegation included associate professors of KSTU: Dotalieva Zh.Zh., Andasheva F.T., Zholdosheva B. M., Dyushenova M.A., Eralieva G.Sh. During their stay in Germany, the delegation participated in the development of educational programs, visited laboratories (media laboratory, biomedical laboratory), the university library and the language Institute. The delegation attended lectures and practical classes by professors of TU Ilmenau, as well as a meeting with undergraduates of KSTU who completed a training internship.
During the visit, the prospects of cooperation between the TU Ilmenau Language Institute and the KGTI German Language Center were discussed. Special attention was paid to the introduction of technical German at KSTU, as this will help students to participate in international projects and internships within the framework of cooperation. The prospects for the exchange of experience, scientific research and internships for our teachers were also considered. Currently, the German Language Center is introducing technical German to students of KSTU.

Visit of Dr. Gisella Zimmermann of the German Language Center at the KSTU in the KSTU named after I.Razzakov
On March 5, 2025, Dr. Gisela Zimmermann, Director of the DAAD office in Bishkek and Regional Representative in Central Asia, visited the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute of I. Razzakov KSTU. This is her first visit at the beginning of her working life in Bishkek. During the visit, a short meeting was held with the teachers of the German Language Center. During the meeting, the issues of the current state of German language teaching in schools and universities were discussed.
