Academic Department of the Kyzyl-Kiya Branch of I. Razzakov KSTU

The Kyzyl-Kiya branch of I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University trains specialists in 10 fields. Education is conducted in full-time and part-time programs using the credit system, which allows students to plan their studies more flexibly and combine education with work.

The branch has three graduating departments and one core department, ensuring the training of highly qualified specialists in various fields.

Graduating Departments:

Department of Geology of Combustible Minerals and Ecology

Trains specialists in the exploration of mineral resources and the oil and gas industry in the following areas:

Department of Economics and Enterprise Management

Provides training in the fields of economics and management:

Department of Mining and Engineering

Specializes in training engineers for the mining and transportation industries in the following areas:

Material and Technical Base of the Kyzyl-Kiya Branch of I. Razzakov KSTU

Scientific Activities

The branch actively supports scientific and research work among faculty and students. Faculty members of the Department of Geology of Combustible Minerals and Ecology – Eshmatova D.M., Pshenova I.N., Shamshiev O.Sh.; Department of Economics and Enterprise Management – Turgunbaeva A.K.; and Department of Mining Engineering – Yuldasheva S.A. participated in the 66th conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of KSTU. They also took part in an international scientific and practical conference in Fergana. Students actively participate in scientific conferences, competitions, and research projects, collaborating with leading specialists and faculty members. Students of the Kyzyl-Kiya branch of I. Razzakov KSTU took part in the 66th International Network Scientific and Technical Conference of I. Razzakov KSTU and were awarded honorary certificates.

Internships and Practical Training

Students undergo industrial and pre-graduation internships at leading enterprises and organizations in the region, including OJSC "Kadamdzhai Antimony Plant," JSC "Khaidarkan Mercury Plant," CJSC "South Kyrgyz Cement Plant," the Kyzyl-Kiya branch of LLC "Kant TSP," and JSC "Kyzyl-Kiya Coal". These internships help students gain practical experience and enhance their competitiveness in the labor market. Students of the Kyzyl-Kiya branch of I. Razzakov KSTU also have the opportunity to intern at top foreign universities, research centers, and industrial organizations. This allows them to gain hands-on experience and apply their knowledge in real-world conditions. As part of partnership agreements, students undergo practical training at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute, Kuzbass State Technical University, and the International Institute of Food Technologies and Engineering in Fergana.
