History of the Department of "Economics and management at the enterprise"
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic “On measures to increase the potential and competitiveness of educational organizations of higher professional education of the Kyrgyz Republic” dated July 18, 2022 No. 243, in pursuance of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On some issues of reorganization of higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic” dated July 29 2022 No. 414 and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the reorganization of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after. I. Razzakov” dated August 19, 2022 No. 1605/1, The Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov was reorganized by merging with it the Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture named after. N. Isanov and the Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources Development named after Academician U. Asanaliev. In this regard, on the basis of the Department of "Industrial Economics" of KSTU named after I. Razzakov was created the department of the "Economics and management at the enterprise" by merging with the Department of "Economics and Enterprise Management" of KSUCTA named after N. Isanov and the Department of “Economics and Organization of the Mining Industry” of KSGU named after Academician U. Asanaliev.
The beginning of the history of the department should be dated back to 1954, when the Frunze Polytechnic Institute was organized and the Department of "Social Disciplines" was created. The first head of the department was Ph.D. Lipovich V.N. In 1962, on the basis of this department, the Department of "Industrial Economics" was organized. The newly created department was headed by the former Deputy Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz SSR, Ph.D., prof. Kosivtsov N.N. The heads of the department were: Ph.D., Associate рrofessor. Gushchin A.F. Ph.D., Associate рrofessor Naaber Yu.R. Ph.D., prof. Orozbaev K.O. Ph.D., Associate рrofessor Parfenova T.F., Ph.D., Associate рrofessor Bogolyubova O.I., Ph.D., Associate рrofessor Zhuma kyzy Raiza, Ph.D., Associate рrofessor. In February 1969, the Department of Economics and Planning in Construction was organized. The heads of the department were: Ph.D., Associate Professor. Zakrzhevsky P.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor. Isakov K.I., Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Merenkov V.Z., Ph.D., Associate Professor. Narynbaev T.K., Ph.D., Associate Professor. Sydykov K.S. Subsequently, the department was renamed “Economics and Enterprise Management”. From 2012 to 2023, the department of “EUP” was headed by Ph.D., Associate Professor. Satkynaliev T.T.
The Department of “Environmental Protection of Subsoil Use Economics” was part of the Geological Exploration Faculty of KSGU named after. Academician U. Asanalieva. The heads of the department were: Doctor of Biological Sciences, Prof. Bekbolotova A.K., Ph.D. Assoc. Beishenkulova D.A., Ph.D., Associate Professor Sharshebaev A.A.
The emergence of departments was associated with the growing needs of society for specialists with a deep understanding of economics and organization of industrial production, mining enterprises and construction. For a long time they were the only educational structure that carried out economic, organizational and managerial training of engineering and technical personnel.
Currently, the personnel potential of the department, consisting of 3 professors, 14 associate professors and 16 senior teachers, allows for the training of bachelors and masters in the direction 580100 “Economics” in the profiles “Economics and management in an enterprise (according to industries)" and direction 750500 "Construction" of the profile "Logistics in Construction" at a high professional level.
Since March 2023, the Department of Economics and Enterprise Management has been headed by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Baktygul Zhenishevna Sulaymanova.
