The Department of the Kyrgyz Language has been operating as a separate structural subdivision of KSTU since April 6, 2006. The department provides training in the Kyrgyz language for 1st year students of all faculties and areas of full-time and part-time education.
The educational and material base of the department is equipped with modern technologies. Employees of the department introduce innovative technologies in education. For example; computers, lingophone, projector, flipchart, etc. Modern education of students is carried out.
The main research work of the department is aimed at improving the methodology of teaching the Kyrgyz language as a mother tongue. The work of the Department of the Kyrgyz language is based on creativity.
A multimedia room in the Kyrgyz language has also been opened. Teachers of the department have a creative approach to teaching the Kyrgyz language. They use modern technologies for teaching and learning languages and teaching methods.
All teachers of the department have higher education and annually increase their qualification.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, 16 teachers work at the department, including 5 "Excellence in Public Education of the Kyrgyz Republic". Of these: 4 - associate professors, 11 - senior teachers, 1 - teacher
