History of Department

 

           The history of the “Kyrgyz language” department begins in 1989, as after the adoption of the status of the state language in the FPI the department of  "Kyrgyz language" opened and headed by the the candidate of pedagogical sciences, Assistant professor T.M. Moldogazieva.

            In 1994, two departments were merged: "Kyrgyz language", "Russian Language", which until 1998 was headed by Ph.D., Assistant Professor P.Z. Bostonova.

            In 1998, this department was divided into two subdivisions, headed by Ph.D., Assistant professor T.A. Abdyrakunov

            In 2001, due to changes in the structure of the educational institution, two divisions were re-united into one department, "Kyrgyz and Russian languages", which was headed until 2005 by the senior teacher of this department A.U. Ismailov.

            In 2005, the head of this department was Ph.D., Assistant professor N.B. Aitbaeva.

            In 2006 the department is divided into two divisions "State language" and "Russian language".

            In 2012, due to changes in the structure of KSTU, the name of the department was changed as "Kyrgyz language", which was temporarily headed by Assistant Professor A.U. Ismailov.

            From 2019 till present time, headed by Ph.D., Assistant professor Zhumagul kyzy Ainura.

           Currently, "Kyrgyz language and literature” discipline conducts classes for all specialties of KSTU for first course.

           In general, department consists of 16 teachers and one senior specialist: from this staff there are candidate of sciences, docents - 5,  senior teachers 11 and 1 teacher.
