Currently, the Department of Automation and Robotics is graduating acutely scarce specialists in the following areas:

  1. "Automation of technological processes and production (by industry)"
  2. "Mechatronics and Robotics".

These specialties are in demand both in our Republic and abroad: USA, Canada, Russia, Israel, Kazakhstan.

The department has strong ties with industrial enterprises, such as JSC "Electrotechnician", Maylisai Electric Lamp Plant, Bishkek Machine-Building Plant, JSC "Bishkek Sut", "Kumtor Operating Company", "Kyrgyzavtomash" "Dastan" where our students have the opportunity to practice and after graduation to get a job. Partnerships have been established with scientific and educational institutions: Kazakhstan (KazNTU named after Satbaev), Russia (MTU named after Bauman, St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University), Turkey (Gebze Institute of High Technologies) and Germany (Clausthal University).

The department has developed student design creativity, participants who, under the guidance of experienced mentors, take prizes in various competitions, conferences, etc. Such students as: Larin S., Korentsov D., etc.
