Printing – K. Kurmanaliev Department

Printing is an industry engaged in the production of books, magazines, newspapers, labels, and tags.

The Department of Printing was established on November 13, 2006, by the Rector's Order No. 96 based on the decision of the Academic Council of KMTU on the basis of the Publishing Center “Tekhnik”.

Main areas of the department:

  • Prepress preparation
  • Printing
  • Postpress processing
  • Computer laboratory
  • Video lecture laboratory, as well as practical and lecture laboratories

Department licenses:

  • Bachelor’s program in “Information Systems and Technologies” (License 556, Appendix to License No. 54, registration number 17/0325)
  • Master’s program in “Technology of Printing and Packaging Production” (License 556, Appendix to License No. 64, registration number 17/0325)

Department mission:
To provide conditions for the comprehensive development of personality through the implementation of higher, postgraduate, and additional professional education programs, offering high-quality educational services that contribute to the intellectual and spiritual growth of students.

Main objectives of the department:

  1. Improving the quality of teaching and methodological work of the faculty.
  2. Modernizing educational technologies to reveal students’ creative potential and professional competencies.
  3. Developing applied research by involving faculty and students in joint projects and integrating results into the educational process.
