The Department of "Polygraphy" was established by order of Rector No. 96 dated November 13, 2006, based on the decision of the Academic Council of the I. Razzakov KSTU based on the Publishing Center "Teknik".
The founder of the Department of "Polygraphy", which is the only department throughout the republic Karypbek Kurmanalievich Kurmanaliev (1949-2015).
Biography of K.K. Kurmanaliev
In 1972 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kyrgyz State University with the qualification “Mathematics. Teacher of mathematics".
In 1977 he completed postgraduate studies at the Institute of Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic
In 1985, and 1987 he graduated from the 6-month courses of the Faculty of Advanced Training at Novosibirsk State University in theoretical mechanics.
In 1989 he defended his Ph.D. thesis in the specialty 01.02.04 "Mechanics of deformable solids".
In 1990 he received the title of associate professor in the Department of Mechanics. He worked as Acting Head of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Deputy Dean, Dean for Work with Foreign Students, and head of the Translation Department of KTU.
Since 1995 — Director of the Publishing Center of KTU and since June 1, 1999 Director of the Publishing Center "Teknik".
He was a member of the editorial board on Technology and Natural Sciences of the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He was awarded the diploma of the Ministry of Education, the badge of honor "Excellent Student of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic", the Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic, the jubilee medal "Osh-3000" of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Certificate of Honor of the Republican Council of Trade Unions, the Certificate of Honor of the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the medal of the National Commission on the State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "Kyrgyz Tili". He is the author of the idea of holding a contest for the performance of Kyrgyz songs in the Russian-speaking part of the population of the Kyrgyz Republic.
From 2015 to 2018, the department was headed by a Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of KSTU Sagynbek Dzhumagulovich Dzhumagulov. Currently, he works at the department as a professor.
Since September 2018, the head of the department is Ph.D. Meder Imatbekovich Razzakov .
