The department "Building structures, buildings and structures" prepares and graduates bachelors in the field of "Construction" in the key profile "Industrial and civil construction".

According to the two-level system of higher professional education, the department graduates masters under the master's program "Industrial and Civil Engineering".

     The department "BSBS" conducts training of highly qualified specialists in postgraduate and doctoral studies.

     The R&D directions of the cluster of educational programs in the direction of "Construction" correspond to the codes of scientific specialties of the National Attestation Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic:

The main areas of scientific activity of the educational program of the cluster "Construction" are:

  • Stability of buildings and structures in the dynamics of seismic loads.
  • Development of structures of buildings and structures resistant to seismic and aerodynamic influences.
  • Research and development of load-bearing structures based on active resistance to dynamic forces, i.e. reduction in the mass of structures, the rejection of rigid construction, the use of inertial and other damping, etc.
  • Research and development of pile and solid foundations, practical implementation of "western" and the latest technologies in the construction of foundations.
  • Study of the practice of using structures of high-rise structures of the skyscraper type, development of structural schemes for the cores (trunks) of the rigidity of high-rise structures.
  • Development of two system and multi-system bearing structures of buildings and structures (against one system), i.e. the development of such load-bearing structures that, in the event of the loss of stability of one or more load-bearing elements, retain the resistance as a whole.
  • Design of steel and cable structures in the bearing elements of buildings and structures in order to reduce the mass of structures and increase the ranges of natural oscillations in the environment of dynamic loads.
  • The use of polymer and composite building materials in civil engineering in Kyrgyzstan, the scientific substantiation of their effectiveness.
  • Scientific justification for the use of autonomous and energy-efficient buildings, reducing the number of engineering networks in buildings and urban infrastructure to 3 key engineering networks - cold water supply, drains, power networks.
  • Scientific justification for the further development of urban infrastructure - the construction of the city subway and, accordingly, station buildings, the construction of multi-level transport structures such as overpasses and multi-level interchanges associated with intensive urban development, the construction and renewal of engineering networks of urban infrastructure, the construction of sustainable buildings and structures.
