Scientific research activity
Directions of scientific activity of the department "Building structures, buildings and structures"
- Stability of buildings and structures in the dynamics of seismic loads.
- Development of structures of buildings and structures resistant to seismic and aerodynamic influences.
- Research and development of load-bearing structures based on active resistance to dynamic forces, i.e. reduction in the mass of structures, the rejection of rigid construction, the use of inertial and other damping, etc.
- Research and development of pile and solid foundations, practical implementation of "western" and the latest technologies in the construction of foundations.
- Study of the practice of using structures of high-rise structures of the skyscraper type, development of structural schemes for the cores (trunks) of the rigidity of high-rise structures.
- Development of two system and multi-system load-bearing structures of buildings and structures (against one system Soviet), i.e. development of such load-bearing structures that, in the event of loss of stability of one or more load-bearing elements, remain stable as a whole
- Design of steel and cable structures in the bearing elements of buildings and structures in order to reduce the mass of structures and increase the ranges of natural oscillations in the environment of dynamic loads.
- The use of polymer and composite building materials in civil engineering in Kyrgyzstan, the scientific substantiation of their effectiveness.
- Scientific justification for the use of autonomous and energy-efficient buildings, reducing the number of engineering networks in buildings and urban infrastructure to 3 key engineering networks - cold water supply, drains, power networks.
- Scientific justification for the further development of urban infrastructure - the construction of the city's subway and, accordingly, station buildings (for example, following the example of the light ground / elevated Dubai Metro), the construction of multi-level transport structures such as overpasses, overpasses and multi-level interchanges associated with intensive urban development, the construction and renovation of engineering networks urban infrastructure, complete replacement of typical Soviet buildings with modern and sustainable buildings and structures with a "bright" architectural appearance, etc.
The Department of BSBS has a laboratory for testing building (reinforced concrete, wood and polymer) structures.
