A delegation of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, consisting of the rector of KSTU M. K. Chynybayev, Vice-rector for International Relations ЧымыроваA. U. Chymyrov and заведующHead of its Department of Mechanical Engineering TechnologyA. T. E. Sartov, visited three educational institutions of the People's Republic of China from August 5 to 12, 2023: Xinjiangий University (Urumqi), ChjyongzYang University of Water Resources Ministry of Energy and Zhengjiang Institute of Communications (Hangzhou). As a result of the negotiations, a multilateral agreement was signed with universities of the People's Republic of China to open Lu Ban Workshops at the I. Razzakov KSTU. The purpose of creating Lu Ban Workshops is to jointly train personnel for industrial enterprises in both countries. For this purpose, educational and scientific laboratories on hydropower, road and bridge construction, and mechanical engineering will be created.
Also, within the framework of bilateral cooperation with Xinjiang University (SU), agreements will be signed on the exchange of students and teachers, on the development of joint research projects, on the creation of a joint educational and research laboratory “Intelligent Production” with the Institute of Intelligent Production of SU and the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology of KSTU.
Within the framework of the agreements reached, in the 2023-2024 academic year, a Summer School will be organized for 1st-year students of the “Materials Science” and “Mechanical Engineering " directions of the TM department on the basis of the SU Institute of Intelligent Production. This group of students and 2 teachers of the department started taking Chinese language courses based on the Confucius Class at KSTU.
