Starting from March 2021, within 5 months, mentors of our department within the framework of the mentoring program under the UNICEF project "Girls in Science" mentors: Bayalieva Ch.T., Dyikanbayeva U.M., Ainabekova A.A., Belekova Zh.Sh. held regular meetings with mentors, during which career guidance work was conducted, mentors explained the importance of STEM professions in in the future, they shared their experiences, held conversations to support their aspirations, discussed the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and attending cultural events for personal development, tried to develop leadership qualities in mentees. In addition to personal meetings, a number of events were held to expand the knowledge and outlook of the mentee
Our department continues to cooperate with the MOF "Initiative of Rosa Otunbayeva" to improve knowledge and skills of effective mentoring. To date, employees of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology - Bayalieva Ch.T., Dyykanbayeva U.M., Ainabekova A.A., Omorova A.A. are working with a new set of mentee girls under the mentoring program of the Girls in Science project.
1) Attending cultural events - Fashion Designer's Studio, Biennale of Cultural Initiatives, etc.;
2) Excursions to enterprises and industries of the Kyrgyz Republic;
