Educational programs

In recent years, the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology has been restructuring its work in accordance with the needs of modern production in the conditions of market relations. The step-by-step training of specialists - bachelors, masters, and since 2013, within the framework of a pilot project also the training of doctors of philosophy (PhD) is carried out. There are agreements on mutual cooperation on multilevel training of specialists with industrial enterprises of the country, educational organizations of vocational education.

Organization of educational process at the Department of "Engineering Technology" is carried out in accordance with the basic educational programs (BEP).

SPE are developed on the basis of state educational standards of higher professional education (GOS HPE), taking into account the model curricula recommended by the Educational and Methodological Association and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the development of SPE, the opinions of all stakeholders, especially potential employers are taken into account. Thematic round tables, working groups, sectoral councils and other formats of interaction with the main stakeholders of the educational program are used as platforms for coordination of the developed educational programs.

Joint educational programs of double diplomas with NRU ITMO and BSTU VOENMEKH (St. Petersburg) are implemented. Harmonization of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering with the partner university in TFH Berlin (Germany) for more than ten years contributes to wide academic mobility of students and undergraduates within the DAAD project.  Since 2014, together with the Department of Instrumentation Technology of NRU ITMO (St. Petersburg, Russia), a joint educational program (JEP) for Master's degree training in the field of automation systems of technological production preparation was launched. The main peculiarity of the JEP is the training of Master students in educational and research structures of the two universities and upon completion of training and successful passing the final state certification of the academic degree of Master with awarding diplomas of both universities. At the same time, they receive a master's degree in two related areas - Mechanical Engineering and Automation of technological processes and industries.
