On April 4, 2025, a seminar on "Dual education and its elements" was held at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov. The event was attended by the heads of the university's structural divisions — directors of institutes, higher schools, colleges, lyceums, heads of departments, heads of departments and centers, as well as heads of educational programs.

Modern challenges in the field of education require universities to introduce new, more flexible and effective approaches to learning. The rapid development of technology, the transformation of labor market requirements and the growth of competition dictate the need to move from traditional education to practice- and project-oriented formats. It is these approaches that allow students to adapt to a professional environment and develop the skills necessary for a successful career — critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and the ability to make decisions in the face of uncertainty.

The rector of the I. Razzakov KSTU, M.K. Chynybayev, addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of introducing elements of dual education to improve the quality of the educational process.

Vasily Konstantinovich Tkachev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Thermal Power Engineering of Samara State Technical University (RF), made a presentation on "Project-oriented learning", sharing his experience and best practices of the Russian university. Professor A.S. Umetaliev, Director of the International Higher School of Logistics of KSTU, spoke about the specifics and application of dual training.

During the seminar, the participants discussed topical aspects of the introduction of dual education in the educational process, its importance for the training of competitive specialists, as well as possible ways of interaction with employers and industrial partners.

The seminar became an important platform for the exchange of experience, professional dialogue and the formation of new ideas aimed at modernizing the educational environment of KSTU.
