On March 10, 2025, the Rector's Council of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov held a solemn congratulation of students who have achieved outstanding success in sports.
Rector of KSTU M.K. Chynybaev noted the high level of training of athletes and their contribution to strengthening the prestige of the university. He emphasized that KSTU students not only demonstrate high academic results, but also achieve great success in national and international competitions.
Among the awardees:
Omurzhan uulu Islanbek, a student of the Institute of Transport and Robotics, won a bronze medal in the 64 kg weight category at the Championship of Kyrgyzstan in sports and combat sambo among men and women.
Orozbaev Eldiyar Altynbekovich, Tynybekov Bakyt Eshenovitch and Zholdoshmamatov Adilet Alikovich became the winners of the Inter-University Personal-Team Qualifying Chess Tournament for the Moscow State University Cup 2025.
Podkorytov Oleg, a student of the Bishkek Technical College of KSTU, took first place in the 60 kg weight category at the Open Eurasian Championship in Raw Deadlift (AWPC) and was awarded a diploma of WPC/AWPC Kyrgyzstan.
Larchenko Danil, also a student of the Bishkek Technical College of KSTU, became the winner in the 82.5 kg weight category at the Open Eurasian Championship in Raw Deadlift (AWPC) and was awarded a diploma of WPC/AWPC Kyrgyzstan.
Doelotev Abay, a student of the Bishkek Technical College of KSTU, took first place in the 58 kg weight category at the Open World Championship in UWW Grappling and received the title of Candidate Master of Sports.
The rector thanked the athletes for their diligence, fortitude and desire to reach new heights, and also emphasized that the university will continue to support student sports, creating conditions for training and participation in competitions.
