International joint conference on environmental technologies and light industry with Óbuda University (Budapest, Hungary)

On November 10, 2023, researchers from two institutes (Institute of Technology and Institute of Information Technology) of the Kyrgyz State Technical University. I. Razzakova took an active part in the International Joint Conference on Environmental Technologies and Light Industry with Obuda University.

University teachers from 10 countries took part in this conference with scientific developments.

The topic of the complex research work is “Research on the use of artificial intelligence in conjunction with CAD programs for the development of a collection of clothing models”, authors: Ph.D., Associate Professor Rysbaeva I.A., Ph.D., Associate Professor Kudakeeva G.M. and art. teacher Turganbaeva B.T.

Today, many brands no longer need to update their clothing collections every season, as before, within a few weeks, so designers have to act very quickly, while maintaining originality and special style. Powered by neural networks and artificial intelligence, a fashion designer can use their creative imagination to make their work faster and easier.

Artificial intelligence expands capabilities and optimizes work in the fashion industry: it recognizes clothes from photographs, has access to virtual fittings, and, without much effort, easily selects the ideal size.

The program will automatically design the pattern and technical reproduction of the patterns by size, height and completeness. Artificial intelligence will require less creative work from the author, and designers themselves will be able to devote more time to their creativity.

The research work uses Midjourney AI to make it easier to create new clothing designs. It is artificial intelligence that can be used to create images, solve problems, and gain new ideas.

With the help of this program, it is planned to create an experimental series of Kyrgyz national costumes, the details of which will be designed in the graphics program of the clothing designer Grafic 12.
