On April 28, 2023, the results of the work of a new project in Kyrgyzstan "Platform of young designers" were summed up

This project was launched in November 2022 and organized by the Kyrgyz-Turkish Textile Development Center (TOB) with the support of the JACAFA Foundation, and students and young designers were invited to participate.

On a competitive basis, students of the IAD KSTU named after I Razzakov were among the first 15 participants in the project.

At the initial stage, seminars and trainings were organized for the participants from well-known designers and entrepreneurs to develop professional skills in computer design and 3D visualization of clothing based on Gerber CAD.

The professional jury of the competition was represented by well-known designers Zalkar Askarali uulu, Kerimkulova Tolgonai "Baira", as well as the organizer of Fashion Contests Nazira Begim.

8 designers with author's collections of costumes were admitted to the final. On the day of the competition, the spirit of creativity and healthy competition reigned in the hall. The event was attended by the director of the Institute of Architecture and Design of the KSTU named after I. Razzakov Kozhobaeva S. T., head of the department of KhPI Omorkulova D. K, as well as students and teachers of the department.

In the finals of the competition, the 4th year student of the Department of Artistic Product Design of KSTU named after I. Razzakov Mirlanbekova Elima took 1st place with the creative collection "Roots" (Head Lecturer of the Department of KhPI Egemberdieva Zarina Davletovna) and received a certificate for participation in the international show, a commemorative cup of the project, as well as a cash prize in the amount of 5,000 soms from the brand "Zalkar", established by the famous designer of the Kyrgyz Republic Askarali uulu Zalkar.

Director of the IAD Kozhobaeva S. T. was also awarded a commemorative cup.

Mirlanbekova Elima's collection is notable for its compositional integrity, originality of color solution and mastery of execution with the use of embroidery, painting and author's texture.

This victory is undoubtedly a huge work and joint creative efforts of teachers and students. We wish further success to students on their creative path!
