January 28, 2023 at the Republican Competence Center (RCC) at KSTU. I. Razzakov completed the 1st short-term course on the program "Technology of bakery, confectionery and pasta" for catering workers.

The listeners received a certificate of professional development from the hands of the Minister of Education and Science Mambetakunov U.E., who in his congratulatory speech noted that today it is extremely important to share the knowledge gained during trainings with colleagues in joint activities and parents of schoolchildren.

The subject of the course related to the provision of high-quality school meals is a prerequisite for the health of students, and, as a result, their academic performance. As an illustration, he gave examples of activities carried out in the country to improve school meals.

In turn, the students thanked the Ministry of Education and Science, the administration of the university and the donors of the RCC - UN WFP, the Institute of Industrial Nutrition SIFI - for the opportunities they provide to take such courses. So, the cook of secondary school No. 64 Lomaeva A. said: “The organization of this kind of training is relevant and timely, and we received a lot of new information, learned a lot. Our trainers have put in a lot of effort to make the course as interesting as possible.”

It should be noted that the lecturers and trainers of the last course were the leading specialists of the Department of Food Technology of the Institute of Technology Abakirova E.M., Azisova M.A., Baigazieva A.S., Muratbek kyzy M. The course itself is concise, but teachers collected the most important information based on the conceptual program documents of additional education, the requirements of professional standards, and personal work experience. And in the preparation of flour confectionery and culinary products, in addition to tasting and external evaluation of their works of food art, the audience took part in the mutual review of the works.
