Congratulations to the team of KSTU, who won silver medals in the Student World Championship in Programming (International Collegiate Programming Contest - ICPC), held by the International Organization ICPC Foundation (http://icpc.baylor.edu) since 1977.

This is the most popular and prestigious competition in this field on a global scale. The CIS countries, including Kyrgyzstan, have been part of Northern Eurasia (NEERC) since 1996, and the sponsor of this event, the purpose of which is to identify the most talented student programmers, encourage the best of them with prizes, prizes and scholarships, as well as an invitation to promising work in the field of information technology is Jet Brains.

The championship promotes the development of a creative approach among students, the formation of teamwork skills and the active use of knowledge in the creation of new computer programs. In addition, it allows them to demonstrate their ability to work in a tough competitive environment.

It should be noted that out of 45 participating teams, our students took the 5th place, and this, as it turned out, was silver (the team that was second on the list solved the same number of problems as ours, but turned out to be a little faster). But the most important thing: KSTU went to the next round - the superfinal of our region (North-Eastern Europe) - the world-class semi-final!
