On May 16, 2024, a meeting with a delegation from Northwestern University (China) took place at the I. Razzakov KSTU.
During the meeting, issues of organizing student exchange, implementing "Double Degree" educational programs under the joint educational program "International Trade and E-Commerce" with the Higher School of Economics and Business, coordinating curricula and academic programs, as well as mutual support in organizing internships and research projects were discussed.
As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation in the field of education, scientific research and their promotion was signed in order to promote the development of education and scientific research between the two universities.
During the visit, a delegation from Northwestern University got acquainted with the university's centers and laboratories. This exchange of experience and knowledge was an important step towards further deepening cooperation between KSTU and Chinese partners.
In addition, during the meeting, it was decided to conclude an agreement with the Junda company for the development of the Petrochemistry direction. The Junda company, located in Kara-Balta, expressed its readiness to accept KSTU students for internship and subsequent employment.
This agreement opens up new opportunities for students, contributing to their professional development and increasing competitiveness in the labor market.
