On November 16, 2023, our researchers took an active part in the Central Asian Forum “Women in Science and Education”, organized by GIZ, Kyrgyzpatent, Aga Khan Foundation and UN Women. Among the distinguished guests were the Director of Kyrgyzpatent - Kerimbaeva Rakhat Topchubaevna, the Head of the GIZ Project "Vocational Education for Economic Growth Sectors in Central Asia" (GIZ PECA) - Sonya Kabbashi-Angelkovich, Davlatsulton Dorgabekova from the Aga Khan Foundation and the Representative of UN Women - Ulziysuren Zhamsran
Our researchers not only attended the forum, but also received well-deserved recognition. Professor and head of the Department of Food Production Technology, Muslimova Mukaram Mukhamedovna, was awarded a high award and recognition from the organizers of the forum - Kyrgyzpatent, GIZ, Aga Khan Foundation and UN Women. In addition, the vice-rector for academic work, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of the department of “Preservation Technology” - Rimma Shukurovna Elemanova, professor of the department of Food Production Technology - Bibigul Suleevna Tamabaeva and teacher Eliza Mayrambekovna Abakirova were awarded the well-deserved Certificates of winners of the competition “Fund of Applied Research in Central Asia”, which received financial support from the GIZ PECA project for the implementation of their applied research.
In addition, our researchers took an active part in the panel sessions, presenting a paper as part of a project of the Fund for Applied Research, funded by GIZ. This important event highlights the impact of our university's research work in science and innovation.
