On September 11, 2023, a delegation from the Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College and the Association of Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Economic Cooperation paid a working visit to the Kyrgyz State Technical University (KSTU) named after I. Razzakov as part of the implementation of an agreement on a joint project to develop educational programs and train application specialists unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
A tripartite agreement on the joint project was signed on April 27, 2023 by the project partners - KSTU named after I. Razzakov, Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College and Xi'an Tianyi Intelligent Control Education Technology.
The Chinese delegation led by the Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation Zhang Hong, including the Dean of the Faculty of Automotive and Aviation Engineering Liu Chen and a representative of the Association of Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Economic Cooperation met with the management and working group of KSTU to sign an introduction to the university and discuss the progress of the project .
First Vice-Rector of KSTU named after. I.Razzakova R.Sh. Elemanova noted the relevance of the use of automated unmanned transport systems in various fields of science and technology, and the need to train specialists in the field of use and design of unmanned aerial vehicles.
She also confirmed that to achieve the goals of the project, new educational programs have been developed using educational materials and the experience of our Chinese partners, and the university has received a state license to train specialists in the technologies of using and maintaining unmanned aerial vehicles. She thanked representatives of Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College and the Association of Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Economic Cooperation for the project cooperation and expressed hope for the successful implementation of the project.
The delegation of the Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College and the Association of Kyrgyz-Chinese Trade and Economic Cooperation got acquainted with the premises and infrastructure of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Training Center, on the basis of which training programs will be implemented.
Some difficulties were identified, mainly related to the logistics of educational and laboratory equipment purchased by the Chinese partners as part of the project. KSTU named after. I. Razzakova provides premises, employees and ensures the implementation of joint educational programs for the training and retraining of specialists for various sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The next academic year is expected to launch a new bachelor's program for training personnel with higher education in the field of application and design of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The college has established a five-way cooperation mechanism among government, industry, enterprises, universities and research institutes, initiated the formation of the Belt and Road Vocational Education Alliance, and continues to promote the integration of industry and education.
