On September 16-17, a large-scale event took place in Kyrgyzstan - Startup Nation Hackathon 2023.
More than 250 teams took part in this event, and the total prize fund was $16,000.
The goal of the hackathon was to show Kyrgyz youth that it is possible to create IT, innovative and creative projects and bring them from the Kyrgyz Republic to the global market. The hackathon accepted projects in the following areas:
citizen and digital state;
IT solutions (AI, machine learning, blockchain, SaaS, fintech, etc.);
creative industries;
eco-tourism, eco-farms, green solutions.
Graduates of universities and IT courses, aspiring programmers, entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses who want to implement IT solutions, as well as startups had the opportunity to take part.
And in this competition, students of KSTU named after I. Razzakov won first place with the KIT-Drone project. Not only were they the winners, but they also won $8,000 in prize money for the project.
