A modern technical university is an elite educational institution where students receive deep professional knowledge along with fundamental training in the natural sciences, general engineering and humanitarian fields of knowledge.
A new unique high-voltage laboratory has been introduced into the educational process at KSTU named after I. Razzakov.
For these purposes, a unique training, production and research high-voltage laboratory of 300 kV (VVL-300 kV) was opened on the basis of an agreement between the Research Institute of Energy and Economics (NIIEE) under the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and KSTU named after I. Razzakov.
This laboratory is intended for conducting educational, educational and experimental, educational and research, as well as research work at the Energy Institute.
At present, taking into operation VVL-300 kV by the staff of the Department of Electric Power Engineering, repair and restoration work has been carried out in electrical installations, partial repair of electrical equipment, and electrical installations of the high-voltage laboratory have been tested.
Today, the employees of the Energy Institute and the Department of Electric Power Engineering have the task of putting into operation the 300 kV overhead line by the beginning of the new academic year.
Expected results during the operation of 300 kV VVL:
- Improving the quality of education, where students will acquire practical skills on an existing electrical installation by conducting switching operations and testing electrical equipment under high voltage;
- deepening knowledge, practical skills and knowledge of PTB in the operation of high-voltage electrical installations;
- performing the necessary high-voltage tests of electrical equipment of energy enterprises in accordance with existing norms and rules;
- carrying out research work of students, masters, post-graduate students and applicants;
- with the additional equipment of 300 kV overhead lines with modern measuring and control devices, it will be possible to organize and conduct classes to improve the skills of engineering and technical personnel of energy enterprises and other institutions
