On June 9, Director of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov Baktybek Karimov paid a working visit to the University of Telecommunications.
At a meeting with the university administration, issues of possible cooperation were discussed - double degree programs, joint scientific and educational projects - and the laboratories of the faculties of radio communication technologies and infocommunication networks and systems were presented.
SPbSUT was represented by Rector Ruslan Kirichek, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Cooperation Nina Zhuravleva, Head of the Center for Advanced Projects and Developments Artem Krivosheev, Head of the International Cooperation Department Alexandra Solovieva, Dean of the RTS Faculty Dmitry Kirik, Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the ICS Faculty Elena Polyakova.
During a tour of the university, Baktybek Karimov paid special attention to laboratory equipment, on which students study and explore all areas of telecommunications.
The Director of the Institute invited SPbSUT to join the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities and participate in the annual meeting of the Consortium in September 2023 at Issyk-Kul Lake.
