On December 9, 2022 in the Great Assembly Hall of KSTU named after I. Razzakov, a significant event took place for first-year students - initiation into students of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications (IET).
The rector of KSTU named after I. Razzakov Chynybaev Mirlan Koychubekovich congratulated the first-year students on their initiation into IET students and wished them great success in their studies and active participation in the public life of the university.
Director of IET B.T. Karimov in his speech also congratulated first-year students. He called on students to be responsible, purposeful, disciplined in their studies and handed student cards and student records to first-year students.
After the welcoming speeches, a celebration concert was held, prepared by students of the first and senior courses of the IET. The students performed songs and dances, the hosts of the concert held various fun competitions and quizzes with prizes awarded to the winners.
Conducting initiation into students has become a good annual tradition at the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of KSTU named after I. Razzakov since the founding of IET.
