On November 22, 2022, a round table "Actual problems of innovative development of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic" was held at KSTU named after I. Razzakov, initiated by the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) to create a platform for interaction with educational organizations, the business environment of the Kyrgyz Republic, foreign partner universities in order to update the vectors of innovative development of the economy, identify the challenges of the modern labor market and strengthen cooperation between KSTU named after I. Razzakova with stakeholders.
The objectives of the round table were as follows:
identifying points of interaction with employers in the formation of educational programs in the areas and profiles of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEiB);
increasing the competitiveness of higher education in terms of preparing bachelors and masters, as a complex innovative process, including the effective organization and quality of education, raising the level of educational and methodological work, combining research and educational work, material and information support for the educational process, international cooperation, etc.
establishing effective interaction between the HSEB, departments (Accounting, Analysis and Audit, Economic Security and Marketing, Economics and Enterprise Management, Management, Information Systems in Economics, Metrology and Standardization) and stakeholders on the implementation of educational programs in terms of organizing industrial practices and employment of graduates.
Vice-Rector for Science of KSTU named after I. Razzakov Torobekov B.T. in his speech, he greeted all the guests and participants of the round table, noted the importance of the topic and wished a positive attitude to the work of the round table.
Director of the HSEiB, PhD in Economics, Assoc. Sydykova Ch.K. in her speech, she outlined the purpose of the round table and noted the main indicators of the global innovation index and its trends over the past five years.
The round table was attended by doctors of sciences, professors from KNU named after Zh. under the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic (Baetov B.I.), from KSTU named after I. Razzakov (Kasimova V.M., Meimanov B.K., Sulaymanova B.Zh.), Ph.D., Associate Professor from NRU KEU named after M. Ryskulbekov (Tursunalieva D.M., Surambayeva A.T.), employers from leading organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic, such as LLC "Dan Agro Products" (Niyazaliev U.S.), LLC IC "Avangard Style" (Minkeev E.I.), LLC "Eurasia Transit Cargo" (Chynybekov Ruslan Seidasymovich), "IOI" companies (Amankulov B.A.), LLC "Megasert" (Wang Ho Shan I.I.), JSC "Kyrgyzaltyn" (Konokbaev D.T.), representatives from the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic (Ishenaliev A.A.), partners from the Tambov State Technical University (T.A. Bondarskaya) and NRU HSE Perm (Belykh S.A.).
Of particular interest were the reports of Doctor of Economics, prof. Omurova S.K. on the digital transformation of commercial banks in Kyrgyzstan, Amankulova B.A. about the concepts of cryptocurrency and blockchain, Tursunalieva D.M. about key competencies and the modern labor market, etc.
Having discussed and exchanged views on the current state and problems of innovative development in the economy, the participants of the round table stated that the training of specialists studying in the BEP of undergraduate and graduate programs at the HSEiB should be carried out taking into account the requirements and trends of the modern labor market, the expectations of employers and the strategic goals of the University.
As a result of the round table meeting, a resolution was adopted with a number of formulated proposals aimed at high-quality training of specialists studying in the BEP undergraduate and graduate areas of the HSEiB:
for the purpose of high-quality training of future specialists, continue and improve the strengthening of interaction between the HSE and B KSTU named after Razzakov with educational organizations, the business environment of the Kyrgyz Republic and countries of near and far abroad;
to improve the structure and content of the HPE and the RUE of the areas of study of the Higher School of Economics and Biology of the KSTU named after Razzakov in the educational programs of the magistracy and undergraduate profiles in accordance with the requirements of the labor market;
widely involve stakeholders in the development of educational and methodological complexes; examination of elective courses in the HSE and B KSTU named after Razzakov; holding joint scientific, methodological and practical events, including subject Olympiads, seminars, competitions, round tables, guest lectures, master classes;
develop and implement new directions for network joint educational programs with foreign partner universities, such as Tambov State Technical University, Perm National Research University Higher School of Economics and others.
in order to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained in the process of studying in the bachelor's and master's programs, to increase the effectiveness of internships (training, production, pre-qualification, research and production, research) by building up the base of cooperation agreements with stakeholders;
more widely involve practitioners with good experience in the economic and financial fields of activity in conducting classes in the disciplines of the BEP implemented by the HSEB;
systematically organize round tables, conferences with the involvement of stakeholders in order to constantly monitor current trends in the labor market and employers' requests for competencies in the selection of personnel.
