In 1965 she entered the Frunze Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Technology. After graduating from the FPI in 1970, having received a diploma with honors as an engineer-technologist of the meat industry, she was left at the Department of Technology of Meat and Dairy Products as a teacher and sent for a one-year internship at the Moscow Technological Institute of the Meat and Dairy Industry.
From 1971 to 1974 She was a postgraduate student at the Moscow Technological Institute of the Meat and Dairy Industry.
In 1974, after completing her studies, she defended her Ph.D. thesis ahead of schedule and in the same year she was awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Since 1974, she has been a teacher, senior lecturer, and since 1980, head of the Department of Technology of Meat and Dairy Products at the FPI. From 1987 to 1992 - Associate Professor, from 1992 to 1996 - Head of the Department of TMMP. In 1996, in connection with the merger of two departments of TMMP and TOOP, she became the head of the department of food production technology. From 2001 to 2009 - head. Department of TVET. 2009 as a professor of TVET department. In 1998 she received the title of Corresponding Member of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2016 she received the title of professor.
Conducts a lot of scientific and methodological work, marked with the signs "Best methodologist", "Best lecturer". She has published over 40 educational and methodical works, including textbooks on the technology of meat and meat products. Over 230 scientific papers have been published, including: 1 invention of the USSR, 13 patents of the Kyrgyz Republic, 3 monographs, 8 State standards for new types of meat products. Supervises graduate students, two of them defended Ph.D. dissertations.
Tamabaeva B.S. was awarded the badge "Excellence in Education of the Kyrgyz Republic", diplomas of the Central Committee of the Komsomol, Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Certificates of Honor of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyzpatent, the diploma "Best Mining Innovator" of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.
