Employment

Employment monitoring of graduates.

One of the main criteria for assessing the level of training of graduates is their relevance to industry enterprises, i.e. their employment. According to this indicator, graduates of "Food Technology" department traditionally demonstrate high results - ranging from 85 to 100%. Our graduates successfully work at many leading enterprises in the food industry, which indicates a high level of training. The successful adaptation of graduates to independent work is facilitated by the organization of all types of student practices during the training period. Therefore, they are in demand, have stable career growth and subsequently occupy high posts in the technical and managerial staff of enterprises.

An analysis of the needs for specialists in the labor market was carried out in the process of organizing round tables, when employers were asked to fill out questionnaires containing a number of questions, including the need for personnel. The results showed that milk processing enterprises located in the regions of the country are experiencing an acute shortage of technologists, laboratory assistants, and mechanics. Several mechanisms for securing personnel in remote regions of the Kyrgyz Republic have been proposed.

• An analysis of the image of graduates of the department was also carried out by questioning employers. Traditionally, graduates are highly appreciated, and employers almost always give preference to them when selecting personnel. This year, an application was received for specialists from a meat processing enterprise in the Moscow region (LLC MPZ Bogorodsky), which also indicates the quality of the educational services provided by the department.

• The department is traditionally a center of attraction for graduates of different years. Almost every year there are meetings of "polytech workers" who come from different countries. In neighboring Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, there are public organizations uniting graduates of FPI with an annual meeting in different cities of these republics. This year, the idea of creating the Association of graduates of FPI-KSTU in Kyrgyzstan was expressed and supported.

• High-quality training of specialists for the food industry allows them to move up quickly the career ladder. The department also tracks this process.
