Research work


Teaching staff of the department conducts research work in the framework of the problem "Rational use of food resources and the protection of the environment and health in the Kyrgyz Republic."

The aim of the research is to improve existing and create new technologies of food with high nutritional value and guaranteed safety for general and medical and preventive nutrition on the base of meat, milk and grain. Large-scale industrial production of such products will improve the country's population health and preserve the nation’s gene pool.

The research work is carried out under the guidance of leading scientists of the department: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, M. M. Musulmanova, Ph.D., Professor T.A. Suponina, Ph.D., Professor A.D. Dzhamakeeva.

The department conducts research under an agreement on mutual scientific cooperation with Moscow State University of Applied Biotechnology, St. Petersburg State University of Low-Temperature and Food Technologies, Voronezh Technological Academy, Almaty Technological University and Shakarim Semipalatinsk State University. The department also conducts joint research with the Institute of Biotechnology of the NAS of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the NAS of the Kyrgyz Republic, and K.I. Scriabin Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas", Bishkek Center for Testing, Certification and Metrology, Kazakh University of Technology and Business (Astana), Technological University of Tajikistan, Tajik National University, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Kazakh National Agrarian University.

Employees of the department annually participate in the work of the International and Republican scientific and technical conferences, publish research materials in the form of articles in periodical scientific literature, in the form of monographs; there are patents of the Kyrgyz Republic for an invention.
